We are Plastic Repair Service.
Owner and founder Ton Willems is an expert in plastic packaging. With 25 years’ experience in both the meat industry as well as international refrigerated and frozen transport, he grasped the opportunity in 2011 to start carrying out high-quality plastic repairs himself. He started his own company and continues to repair plastic under the name Plastic Repair Service. High-quality repairs. In fact: Repairs of the very highest quality!
Everything under one roof
Plastic Repair Service has grown explosively in a short period of time. Professional and qualified engineers now form part of a team of over 40 staff. We offer professional repair or cleaning, and also produce plastic products to your specifications. We can even arrange the recycling of plastic products for you, and we do all this under one roof. Plastic packaging, including pallet boxes, pallets, crates, foldable boxes and containers. Everything that is made from PP, PE and even ABS.
“If it’s possible, we’ll produce a plastic product that’s better than the original.”
Professional repair of plastics
Our DVS-2212 and 2221 certification, which is highly regarded internationally, is evidence of our service quality. We are registered as certificated company at the Handwerkskammer Aachen, after having followed initial training and being subject to (annual!) testing by Kursstätte des Instituts für Kunststoffverarbeitung at RWTH Aachen. We produce anything from plastic, entirely to your specifications. Quality always comes first.
Our employees follow regular training to ensure that we always offer services of the highest quality.
We also share our knowledge and have even helped plastic welding machine manufacturers to develop new welding equipment for the plastic welding industry; something we’re really proud of!
Eight different welding techniques
Our engineers are trained in using eight different welding techniques. This means we can repair any plastic product (PE, PP or ABS) or produce a product to your exact specifications. We are one of the few companies in Europe to have two mirror welding machines, enabling us to weld two plastic parts together perfectly. Another frequently used welding technique is extrusion welding, which we mainly use for repairs.
